Abstract

This letter to the editor is a commentary on the previously published article, Breakthroughs and Barriers to Stoma Education: Wisdom Gained from a Pilot Study, relating personal and professional experience living and adapting to ostomy life to current needs in healthcare for improved education and quality of patient's lives.
